Design Consultancy and Evaluation
Some of our clients have asked us to help their trainers to develop the skills and process for design across a range of media.  For example, our team has worked with a large mutual insurance company to completely revitalise its training department.  We developed new processes, rolled out a new training design approach, conducted a full development needs assessment and trained and coached their teams in course design skills. We also helped them to rewrite their core training. §

We have also completed a full review of a suite of global management development e-learning programmes before they were launched by a major energy company.  As a result of our review major improvements were made to the materials.

We have also been asked by some clients to evaluate the effectiveness of their development activity, both from reviewing their development inputs (the quality of the development activities) and the outputs (the effect on their skills, knowledge and behaviours).  For example, our team reviewed the development activity for an internal consulting group within a major UK bank, recommending a series of new interventions for the team ranging from courses through to coaching and an action learning programme.
